Photographer Policy

Photography is considered part of the ceremony party. No separate CUA requirement is mentioned for ceremony-related photography. Confirm with the permit office when you apply.

What's Not Allowed

  • ×No chairs or tables except in picnic areas
  • ×No amplified music
  • ×No ceremonies in meadows, riparian areas, or around sequoia tree bases

  • ×Permits not issued on holidays or heavy-use holiday weekends

Yosemite is one of the most sought-after parks. Apply as early as possible. The permit office does not issue permits on holidays or peak holiday weekends.
