Elope in Alaska
glaciers, tundra, volcanic peaks, and 20-hour summer light
Alaska elopements are for couples who want something genuinely remote. Denali, Kenai Fjords, Wrangell-St. Elias, and Glacier Bay put you in landscapes most people only see in photographs. Summer days run 18 to 20 hours of light. Golden hour is not a window, it is a condition that lasts all evening. The logistics are harder than anywhere in the lower 48: small-plane access, bear country protocols, unpredictable weather. The couples who go anyway almost always say it was the right call.
